About Boquete Outdoor Adventures
Boquete Outdoor Adventures was founded in 2004 by renowned paddler and kayak instructor, John Miller and his wife Robin. John has been exploring Panama and leading whitewater kayaking trips since 1997. Although custom multi-day whitewater trips have historically been the mainstay of BOA’s business, we now offer multi-day sea kayaking trips, as well as a variety of wilderness adventures and multi-sport trips for families and groups. And in January 2008 we started offering a variety of all-inclusive day trips from Boquete, to give the local traveler a snapshot of the excitement that makes our multi-day trips so popular!
Boquete Outdoor Adventures is located in the beautiful mountains of the Chiriqui province in western Panama. The lowlands and highlands of the Chiriqui province, well-known by birding enthusiasts for many years now, provide an awesome variety of outdoor activities such as whitewater kayaking, sea kayaking, rafting, backpacking, biking, birdingwatching, snorkeling, deep sea fishing and surfing. The many varied ecosystems of Panama support an incredible variety of life, and the abundance of water in the Chiriqui province provides a lifeline to a particularly diverse host of plants, animals and mammals. Panama’s biological and cultural diversity provide a dramatic backdrop for exploration and adventure!

You choose your group, tell us what you want to do, and we take care of all the details including in-country transportation, lodging, guides, meals and equipment. Our guides maintain certifications in Wilderness First Aid and CPR. Exploration is one of the coolest things we do here at BOA, and it serves a very good purpose. We offer you activities that we enjoy ourselves and in a safe, fun (and sometimes awe-inspiring) atmosphere.
